ABOUT ABOUT

Have you ever been in that situation where you just look around and ask IS THIS REALLY HAPPENING RIGHT NOW? Well, so have we. So we wrote a play about it.

GoodPeople Theatre Co. presents a new, orginal work by Mollie J. Amburgey and Will Bonfiglio titled IS THIS REALLY HAPPENING RIGHT NOW? - A SERIES OF VIGNETTES. Directed by Mollie J. Amburgey, and assistant directed by Emily Crawford, this piece stars Cara Barresi, Clayton Bury, Robert Michael Hanson, and Shannon Nara. Beginning with an Introduction full of nostalgia to situations that make one question "Is This Even Real Life?", there are then four original vignettes exploring friendships and relationships, one taking place on a blind date, one taking place in a coffee shop, one over Tinder, and one in a laundromat. By the end of this hour performance, you'll probably be asking "Did that just really happen?"

Performances are Friday June 5th, and Saturday June 6th at 8pm at Restituo Coffee Shop, 4100 Shenandoah, Shaw Neighborhood, St. Louis. House opens at 7:30pm. Tickets are $20 for General Admission, $15 for Artists/Military. Street Parking in Shaw is available. If there are any other questions, please email [email protected] or contact Artistic Director Mollie Amburgey at 513-377-7783.
